Our May Reopening

We are officially reopening Rabbit on Tuesday the 18th of May from 12pm. Our opening times are listed below and on our website. 

After a much-anticipated wait for restaurants to reopen, we are finally able to open our doors to our regulars and local guests who we have missed so much! Our extremely talented and beloved General Manager Ryen and her team getting the restaurant ready for your arrival, with a beautifully laid out dining room that is clean, clear and safe for our guests whilst still maintaining the countryside character that you have all come to love. The wine list is a collaborative curation by Richard Household, Richard Gladwin, and Ryen herself - a reflection of our passion for good wine and philosophy that no meal is complete without its perfect pairing. 

Excitingly, we have a new Head Chef to introduce that has been in the company for many years, Costin Burlacu. He has been the Sous Chef at our Notting Hill restaurant, The Shed for a number of years. Not only is he a very accomplished chef with fine plating skills and an unwavering eye for detail, but he also matches the Local & Wild philosophy by running the kitchen to high sustainability standards. We are very much looking forward to his fresh perspective on the Rabbit menu whilst retaining the classic style that we have come to be known for. 

If you're unfamiliar with Rabbit, we very much look forward to bringing you into the Local & Wild foray.  Most recently, Country and Townhouse gave a great description:

"Here you’ll find all things wild, foraged and locally grown, with sustainable livestock from the family’s Nutbourne farm, Ashurst Wood. The menu changes regularly, but dishes tend to come as small plates, perfect for a tapas-style sharing meal. You could be eating Sussex beef tartare with star anise pickled carrot, venison cigars with harissa and pickled mustard seeds or aged chorizo with labneh – whatever is on the cards for that day, you can guarantee it will be fresh, authentic and delicious".

Tuesday – Saturday | Lunch 12-3pm | Dinner 5pm – 10:30pm

Afternoon snacks 3pm – 5pm

Sunday 12pm – 8pm
